All sales made on July 16, 2019 will support advancing children’s healthcare
MISSISSAUGA, ON – TravelBrands, a leader in the travel industry, is bringing its driving force to a special cause – supporting children’s healthcare. On July 16, 2019, TravelBrands will donate one per cent of all sales made to the SickKids Foundation, for a third year in a row.
“This year, our donations will directly support SickKids and their Cardiac Operating Room,” says Frank DeMarinis, President & CEO, TravelBrands. “Our goal is to help kids and families in need. We are calling on the entire travel community to come together and support this worthwhile initiative.”
TravelBrands has raised over one million dollars for the SickKids Foundation to date. This one day of donating profits complements other initiatives TravelBrands participates in to raise money and awareness for SickKids. These events include an annual 5km employee walk, participation in the Mississauga Dragon Boat Race Festival and the annual TravelBrands Charity Golf Classic.
All net proceeds will be donated to the SickKids Foundation. These funds support its goal of being the leading pediatric and congenital heart disease centre in the world. Travel agents can also donate their Loyalty Rewards points to the SickKids Foundation. TravelBrands will match any Loyalty Rewards donation made between July 16 and August 31, 2019.
