TravelBrands to donate one per cent of sales to SickKids Foundation

Sales made on July 17, 2018 will support advancing children’s healthcare

MISSISSAUGA, ON – As a team, TravelBrands strives to go beyond its business objectives and bring its driving force to initiatives that make the world a better place. On July 17, 2018, TravelBrands will donate one per cent of all sales made to the SickKids Labatt Family Heart Centre.

“We are calling on the travel community to come together and support a very important cause,” says Frank DeMarinis, President & CEO, TravelBrands. “Our donations will have a direct effect in supporting SickKids’ goal of being the leading pediatric and congenital heart disease centre in the world. Ultimately, we just want to help kids live their lives to the fullest.”

To date, TravelBrands has raised approximately $710,000 for the SickKids Foundation. The goal is to reach $1 million dollars by September 2018. In addition to pledging this percentage of sales, TravelBrands hosts multiple events year-round to raise awareness and funds for SickKids. This includes the annual TravelBrands Charity Golf Classic, participation in the Mississauga Dragon Boat Race Festival and an annual 5km employee walk.

Travel agents can also donate their Loyalty Rewards points to the SickKids Foundation. TravelBrands will match any Loyalty Rewards donation made between July 17 and August 31, 2018.

Travel partners, suppliers and clients are encouraged to make their bookings through TravelBrands on July 17 to contribute to this worthwhile cause.
