SearsTravel.ca continues to operate as usual under TravelBrands Inc.
MISSISSAUGA – On June 22, 2017 Sears Canada Inc. (Sears Canada) announced that it had been granted an order from the Ontario Superior Court of Justice under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (the CCAA). SearsTravel.ca, operated and managed by TravelBrands Inc., wants to ensure its customers will not be affected by Sears Canada’s announcement.
“As far as our stakeholders are concerned, SearsTravel.ca will continue operating as usual under TravelBrands Inc.,” says Daphne Sword, Managing Director – Sears Travel, TravelBrands. “With the exception of 10 stores affected by Sears Canada’s announcement, our customers will continue receiving the best services and travel deals possible.”
