TravelBrands concludes regional events showcasing Access’ unique capabilities and announces prize winner

MISSISSAUGA, ON – From the Access platform to appreciating agents and all things Canadian, TravelBrands has completed a series of interactive training sessions throughout Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada. To celebrate a run of successful shows, an agent was randomly chosen to receive a free trip to Calgary, courtesy of TravelBrands.

Known as Go Canada, TravelBrands hosted these shows in Kingston, Barrie, Niagara, Ingersoll, Pickering, Quebec City, Victoria, Saskatoon and Winnipeg starting in July and ending August 2, 2017. Agents in surrounding areas were invited to attend and learn more about Access.

“Our mission is to help agents discover our recent technology updates with Access and the benefits of using the dedicated agent portal,” says Frank DeMarinis, President & CEO, TravelBrands. “Access’ tools are designed to help agents earn more commission and save money for their clients. It pays to have all eyes on Access.”

To commemorate Canada 150, the theme for the TravelBrands training sessions was “Go Canada.” Agents were encouraged to dress up in their favourite Canadian attire. Each event embodied Canadian colours and spirit. Attendees enjoyed a reception, dinner and interactive games with prizes, along with a dynamic presentation outlining many of the new initiatives and tools being launched by TravelBrands.

Agents attending each show were entered to win the grand prize, which includes a 4-night stay at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary, roundtrip flights for two provided by Air Canada and a 5-day car rental from Hertz. When the national shows concluded, a random draw was held to determine the winner. Ashley Varey, an agent from Blowes Travel in Stratford Ontario, was chosen as lucky recipient of the grand prize.

The Access platform allows agents to create custom vacation packages by utilizing TravelGenie’s flexibility for travel worldwide. From multi-destinations to add-ons such as transportation or attractions, the wide range of options and products gives agents the capability to create the ultimate vacation for their clients.

The goal of Go Canada was to help agents work smarter, not harder through TravelBrands’ user-friendly Access platform and to celebrate dedicated agents. For more information on all-in-one access to the world, visit www.travelbrandsaccess.com
